If gusty winds gave J. Lo and the updo she wore to the Los Angeles premiere of This Is It some trouble on the red carpet last night, her flawless complexion and sultry smoky eye were pure perfection. Heavy black liner on the inner rims of both her upper and lower lash lines provided plenty of wow factor, but the wash of metallic shadows in black and brown with a Champagne highlight in the inner corners explains why you can’t stop staring. Should you also find yourself transfixed by her skin, here’s a tip makeup artist Scott Barnes gave us a while back regarding Lopez’s signature glow: “The trick [with bronzer] is to work from the outside of the face inward, rather than the other way around. This creates a halo effect and leaves a diamond shape of light in the center, so your face appears a little more open.” And how. Thoughts on her look?

The Hong Kong actress Cecilia cheung as red. “Pure” the brand name, spokesperson, soft decorate a style and storefront, clothing display pattern pure seems to be a fashion brands. First “pure” the brand name seems too soft, unable to have a bigger impact man, A young girl spokesperson also seems to be unable to take cover in men, Stores and lively lively tonal and clothing display pattern also lets a person associate to this is a more fashion brands. Fortunately aluminum then noticed in leisure clothing field goal only female people is too narrow, this problem will soon make the men’s spokesman, pure leisure, expanded the rich product target consumer groups.
Now the men’s clothing whether pure stores seem only suitable for women aged 16-23 students and young. In the plain of the company website, can clearly see the 18 ~ 30 hk people on their target consumer groups, but in the product development, aluminum products significantly younger, 25-30 years of purchasing power has enough customer-groups in pure find suitable products. In plain speaking, this is a great waste.

This summer, we’ve changed our nail color more often than we’ve done our laundry. With new styles such as matte to the summer’s hottest colors, such as our beloved neon yellows, nail polish has become our cheapest and most important accessory.

Though we don’t often put J Crew in the same category as Rodarte or Chanel, they seem to be the only mass brand to follow one of the couture trends. The usually simple, but cashmere-comfortable label, has just released their own set of nail gloss in collaboration with Essie. The duo (each sold separately) includes One of a Kind, a vibrant, cherry red and Eternal Optimist, a more subdued peachy-pink.

As a fresh coat of paint always does your style wonders, we recommend getting both. Old gloss is just another form of dirty laundry.

Charlotte takes her coveted cool to the discount aisles.

Recently, some fashion writers have condemned JCPenney, saying it doesn’t belong in a trendy arena. But we respectfully disagree with the idea that the superstore is only for fridges and microwaves, and here’s why:

Charlotte Ronson just launched her second collection there, and it’s gorgeous.

The clothes are a mix of clingy, long tees (as seen on family friends like Jessica Szohr and Mischa Barton), cropped flannel shirts, and tons of leggings, plus a few accent items like blouses and dresses in Charlotte’s trademark hippie prints.

Can you go to the Oscars in this stuff? No. But with a great pair of heels, some lipstick, and layering, you could show up at any velvet rope and fully expect to waltz right inside.

Bonus: Your outfit will probably cost less than your bar bill. Which isn’t just egalitarian – it’s also damn cool.

“Lightness, color, desire—and a lot of work.” That was the recipe for the new Lanvin collection, according to Alber Elbaz. The show itself opened with leanly dark ensembles (one jacket sleeveless, another fly-fronted), which immediately felt like a refutation of everything the house’s menswear has come to stand for. The sensation was fleeting, though: Maybe those first outfits were intended as some kind of conceptual break, but once the show took flight in a fast-paced frenzy, the details that flew out of the blur were very much in keeping with the almost-feminine flourishes that have distinguished the label: a tiny bow on a neckline, another at the waist, kimono-cut shirts, high-waisted khakis, a green coat in what looked like crepe, puff sleeves, shorts in tie silk. (”We turned ties into pants,” Elbaz’s coconspirator Lucas Ossendrijver laughed.) It was typically…glamorous…and, as such, in keeping with the whisper of transgression that has always trailed behind Lanvin menswear. That held true even though, for the first time, the collection actually mixed both of the label’s collections for men, the classic and the more adventurous “garde-robe”—a development reflecting the designers’ conviction that menswear is no longer about “one man in a suit, another in a printed silk T-shirt.”

“I don’t do fashion, I do clothes,” Hermès menswear designer Véronique Nichanian told the French newspaper Libération today. It’s such modesty that makes her collections so seemingly unprepossessing, but, paradoxically, so desirable. The most flattering, straightforward clothes in the best fabrics money can buy: Why make things any more complicated? That’s where Nichanian’s skill as a designer comes into play. Sure, she makes clothes, but she adds just enough fashion to seduce—and reassure. This season’s color palette was dark, earthy shades of taupe, slate, bronze, and a deep greenish shade she called “verdigris,” which Nichanian showed in seersucker as well as calfskin. They were sophisticated hues, but they weren’t scary. (That function was filled by the hit of apple green in a big cashmere pullover or a shirt layered under a bronze leather overshirt.) The designer also adjusted proportions—slightly cropping pants, upping the volume of jackets and knitwear—to emphasize stylish ease. And she showed her dressiest looks—suits in black and bronze linen—with sandals. Maybe that look is a bare necessity in Nichanian’s eyes, but the guy who wears it will be looking mighty fashionable come next summer.

Kim Jones is a pop-cultural hunter-gatherer, a natural archivist and completist. Dunhill is a candy store for him, full of things to uncover and reintroduce to the world. You can feel his enthusiasm on the catwalk, where his models are not just wearing clothes but also toting bags, strapping on watches, sticking pins in their lapels or pens in their pockets, glinting with silver buttons and tie clips and cuff links, all of them filleted out of Dunhill’s spectacular archives. But this is no academic exercise in 2s. They were dazzlers, especially the (literally) cool sunglass frames made from English flint mined from the Thames; the traveling watch box in the same flint; and a gratifyingly weighty ball-point pen lacquered with a mix of meteorite and black diamonds.
